Brooke Jay is an Intimacy Professional celebrating pleasure and connection at the intersection of art, movement, and sexual education. Inspired by her lived experiences on stage and screen as a performing artist and model, Brooke entered the world of production with the safety of women in mind and in heart.
During her 7 years as lead producer of The Haux Hive - a sex-positive community that curates mindful containers for the free expression of Black, queer, & femme bodies - she organized over 35 adult-only live theater (+ virtual, during Covid) experiences featuring Burlesque, BDSM + Kink edutainment with the help of a team of diverse Intimacy Professionals.
Her experience has landed her on international platforms like the Berlin Porn Festival speaking on Safer Sex in the Digital Age, or in Costa Rica teaching her signature sensual movement style, Floetic Floorwork via Foreplay Sensual Dance.
She studied somatic sexual education at the ATL Institute of Tantra (now the Amina Institute) and was awarded a scholarship from Film Intimacy Professionals (501c3), officially receiving her certification as a Film Intimacy Coordinator in the Summer of 2024.
WHAT IS An INTIMACY COORDINATOR?
A specialized professional on film, TV, and theater sets who choreographs scenes involving nudity, simulated sex, or intense physical contact, acting as a liaison between actors and directors. They ensure physical/emotional safety, advocate for performers' boundaries, and ensure informed consent, functioning similarly to a stunt coordinator.
