Black Magick is an afrofuturistic coming-of-age drama about a witch unsure of her abilities. Set in 2035 in the city of Xavier, we dive into a world fueled by a blend of magic and technology that is still recovering from its not-so-distant and dark past. We meet Reign on the eve of her birthday as she leaves behind her old life and is forced into uncertainty. The new world is full of possibility but Reign can’t yet see it for herself. Who might she become?
